Thinking about joining the geology and geophysics program and looking for a little financial help? Apply for a scholarship as an incoming freshman or transfer student.

You may be eligible to receive one of the following scholarships:

Ray E. Morgan Award

  • You must be an outstanding junior in the geology program to be eligible for this award.

Clifford Bishop Memorial Scholarship

  • You must be an outstanding geophysics student to be eligible for this award.

Carl & Francis Prewett Scholarship

  • You must be a graduate of a high school in Phelps County to be eligible for this award.

Sheldon K. Grant Field Camp Award

Undergraduate Award for Service

Dr. Thomas Beveridge Field Camp Scholarship

Dr. Alfred Spreng Undergraduate Research Award

In addition, several students receive external scholarships from professional organizations (e.g., Society of Exploration Geophysicists, AAPG), mining companies, private foundations, etc.
